This unit is concerned with the following:

- To develop policies and mechanisms of assessment and evaluation in accordance with the University Strategic Plan.

- To develop an integrated plan to assess the University’s performance and to evaluate learning outcomes in collaboration with colleges and scientific departments using the latest methods to assess the outcomes.

 - To determine the assessment methods and criteria of assessments, and the academic and administrative evaluation in the University

- To organize  meetings , training programs and panel discussions to spread and consolidate the assessment and evaluation culture.
       
- To support cooperation and the exchange of expertise and consultation between administrations, centers and organizations of assessment and evaluation at the local, regional and international levels

 To provide and disseminate research in the development of assessment and evaluation-
